Dear Colleagues-

With 2020 behind us, we look forward to 2021 with great expectation and hope for a healthier future for our patients and colleagues. Ohio Gastroenterology Society continues to advocate on behalf of all gastroenterologists in Ohio.

As the vaccination program progresses, we are hopeful that we will be able to meet in person for our Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 18. We will maintain current recommendations for social distancing and mask requirements. We will also plan for a virtual meeting in the event that the Governor limits large gatherings.

We are currently planning for our Virtual Legislative Day later this spring. With the support of OSMA, we hope to meet with legislators to provide feedback on several current legislative items >

We will be electing a new board for OGS at our upcoming meeting. It has been an honor to lead this incredible society for the past two years.

I would encourage you all to renew your membership and recruit your fellow colleagues to get involved by joining here.

To renew, please call 614-527-6728 or email ohgastro@osma.org.

Sincerely,

Sapna Thomas, MD

President • Cleveland
