A message from Dr. Dany Raad, MD • Education Committee Chair
Get Ready to Meet in Columbus on Sept. 9!
Also, new this year: We have added a Welcome Reception on Friday, September 8 from 6:00-7:00 pm. Please join us for drinks and appetizers and the chance to network with all our speakers, board members and attendees.
I invite all of you to join your colleagues at Ohio’s premier GI community education meeting at The Renaissance Hotel Westerville Polaris. We have an exciting agenda with cutting-edge topics led by nationally known experts. We will discuss a variety of topics targeted to the general gastroenterologist including Neuroendocrine Tumors of the GI Tract, New techniques to assess esophageal function, in addition to EMR/ESD for the General Gastroenterologist. As usual we will also have updates about Liver disease, Inflammatory Bowel disease and Chronic constipation.
Scientific Poster Abstracts:
We’ve expanded the number of research posters we can accept to allow more participation of residents and fellows. This is a great opportunity for physicians in training to become involved in the OGS annual meeting and to enhance their reputation both within and outside their training program, and gives them dedicated time to network with physicians about potential practice opportunities. Please encourage those you work with to submit an abstract application.
This year complimentary overnight accommodations are provided to anyone having an abstract accepted!
The meeting is free for OGS members. Everyone can earn valuable continuing education credits. Please share this with your colleagues, staff and residents/fellows you work with, and I look forward to seeing you in September!
409 Altair Pkwy, Westerville, OH 43082
